Uganda, Africa

This February we had the opportunity to go to Uganda to capture film and photography for one of the companies we work with. Quite often we hear tear-jerking, heart touching stories of the people organizations like Medical Teams International and World Vision are helping hundreds of thousands of miles away, but the tangible work they are doing is still so far from our understanding. So to see first hand the work they are going in the field, really put things into perspective for us. GoLite, the company we were their to film for is outfitting the entire Medical Teams International staff with over 14,000 pieces of clothing for their uniforms. These staff members in Uganda have dedicated their lives to treating the now over one million refugees that are coming into the country. One million. That's larger than the population of Seattle. People, many times very well educated people, fleeing their country to then start over in Uganda. The hospitality and heart for others that MTI staff and the people in Uganda have is so admirable. Ugandans not only open their arms to provide a safe place for these refugees, but they literally have given their land for them to then own and harvest.

So for us, though very small in comparison, our way of doing and sharing good is crafting stories through videography. Here's a look at some of these stories and projects we were there to capture. More to come.
